She graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering from ITC Campus Culiacán Mx. She moved to California and the journey began. She was always passionate about fashion design.
She always had a deep connection with her grandmother Petra, who taught her about embroidery, bag making, and sewing. This inspired her to create Petra Savage.

Our hats are designed in Los Angeles CA and produced in our factory in Mexico. We are proud to say that we are working with artisans from different parts of Mexico, and we create work for many families that the only source of income is the using their knowledge of making quality hats.
